As you may know from my Instagram, I love attending beauty and fashion events. I have wanted to attend for the last few years as I attended Priestly Stylist Live in 2019 and had a blast. Plus, I recently ran an Exclusive Giveaway of 2 Exclusive Stylist Live Tickets here on my blog.
What Is Stylist Live
Stylist Live, an annual three-day extravaganza, is not just another beauty and fashion event. It’s a unique experience that brings the pages of Stylist magazine to life, offering a diverse range of experts, interviews, comedy, food, and exclusive fashion and beauty showcases.
This year, I was fortunate to secure a VIP ticket for the event, choosing to attend on Friday for a more exclusive experience. The additional perks of the VIP ticket, such as the guaranteed prize on the Wheel of Dreams, made it a worthwhile investment.
However, a few days ago, my dog Sassy gave birth to five adorable puppies, which led me to consider giving away my ticket. Eventually, I allowed the lore of Stylist Live’s VIP goodie bag to get me out of the flat and en route to Stylist Live.
What Do You Get with The VIP Ticket
After entering the event from the Dedicated entrance to Stylist Live, VIP Ticket holders were treated to a spin on the Wheel of Dreams with a guaranteed (in which I won a Sarah Chapman Skinesis Skin Tone Perfecting Booster 30ML worth £69.00).
Inclusive cocktails or non-alcoholic alternatives and Complimentary nutritionist-approved food from Frive.
Access to the new VIP area located on the second floor showcasing top-tier furniture pieces from the DFS collection, including Ted Baker, French Connection and Dwell
creating an inviting and buzzy atmosphere for VIP ticket holders to retreat from the hustle and bustle of the event, plus Reserved front-row seating for the catwalk show.
An old-school tuck shop-style VIP grazing station with tasty treats from Popchips, Epic Snax, Pip & Nut, Olly’s Snacks, Buttermilk, and Tony’s Chocolonely, as well as refreshing drinks from Cano Water, Jimmy’s Iced Coffee, Smiley X Happy Soda, and Karma Drinks, provides the perfect pick-me-up for the tired VIPs!
The legendary Stylist Live VIP goody bag, valued at over £450, is a testament to the premium skincare and beauty brands it contains, making it a worthwhile addition to the VIP experience.
My Stylist Live Experience
Upon my arrival at Stylist Live, I was greeted at the dedicated VIP entrance and handed my VIP lanyard. This pass granted me access to the VIP area, the Wheel of Dreams, complimentary food and drinks, and, of course, the coveted goodie bag. I chose to leave my goodie bag unopened until the end of the day, savouring the anticipation of its contents.
Once inside, I redeemed my token for a free Mirabeau x Fever-Tree Rosé Spritz cocktail before slowly browsing the brands in the Stylist Live marketplace.
I was delighted with the plethora of brands spanning fashion, beauty, homewares, accessories, and health and wellness products at Stylist Live.
The Stylist Live catwalk regularly highlighted the latest trends chosen by their fashion editors alongside their fashion partner, Tu, for which VIP guests were afforded reserved front-row seats, reminding me of my London Fashion Weekdays (Yes, I used to be about that London Fashion Week front row life).
Stylist Live also featured a comprehensive line-up of speakers on the Main Stage, such as Jamie Genevieve, “The Beauty Habits I Swear by” Tamu Thomas, “Five Small Life Shifts that Will Help Prevent Burnout,” and Nadiya Hussain, “2024: A Life in Food.”
On the Google stage, speakers provided insight into how attendees can take back their time to make life easier both personally and professionally. Talks included Federica Amati (head nutritionist at Zoe) ‘s Demystifying Nutrition: Navigating the Myths to Stay Healthy for Life and Tamu Thomas’s Five Small Life Shifts that Will Help Prevent Burnout.
Plus, various writers, such as Meena Alexander and Nadiya Hussain, were on deck at the Waterstones area conducting book signings.
Time at Stylist Live just flew by, and despite my intention of quickly popping in to have a look around before grabbing my goodie bag and getting back to my Sassy and her puppies, I actually did not leave the event until almost 8 p.m. after purchasing some CBD GUMMIE BEARS from Every Budy.
Stylist Live 2024 exceeded my expectations, and I’m already looking forward to next year’s event. Despite my high expectations, the event’s inspirational talks, fashion shows, refreshments, and diverse range of brands and products made the VIP ticket more than worth it. While I wish more brands offered beauty treatments, I still highly recommend attending or purchasing VIP tickets for next year’s event.
