OPI has long been one of my go-to nail brands, so the upcoming OPI x M&M’S Holiday 2026 collection, Sweeten Your Mani, immediately caught my attention. The limited-edition collaboration takes inspiration from those instantly recognisable M&M’S colours, but thankfully, it goes beyond novelty nails. There are glossy reds, chocolate browns, metallics and jewel tones that feel properly festive while still being wearable once Christmas is over.
There is something about changing your nail colour that can give your mood a little lift too, especially during the darker winter months. A bright red, glossy gold or fresh manicure can be a small way of leaning into the season, and my UMIA Beauty Dream Nails experience reminded me just how much having my nails done can make me feel more put together. If you’re ready to move on from the shades in my Autumn Nail Colours edit, Sweeten Your Mani makes a convincing case for turning up the colour for Christmas.
It also arrives just as festive beauty shopping gets serious. I’ve been rounding up the launches worth knowing about in my 2026 Beauty Advent Calendars guide, while my Christmas on a Budget ideas are there if you want to enjoy the season without letting December run away with your bank balance.

Alongside classic red, yellow, orange, brown, blue and green, the OPI x M&M collections introduces gold, caramel, coral, silver, maroon, deep teal, winter whites, taupes and pinks. It gives the range much more versatility, whether you prefer classic manicures, rich winter shades or something with a little festive shine.
One in Your Mani is the obvious Christmas red, a glossy crème that works just as easily with black tailoring and denim as it does with partywear. The chocolate-inspired shades are particularly interesting, with Choco-lotta Cheer, Peanut Butter Me Up, A Bit Nutty and I Caramel For You offering sophisticated brown and caramel alternatives to the usual festive burgundy.
For something more celebratory, Feeling Mmmerry brings gold into the mix, while What a Tree-t, a deep teal, and OPI Want Them All, a maroon shimmer, cater to those of us who prefer darker winter nails.
What makes Sweeten Your Mani appealing is that you do not have to fully commit to the M&M’S theme. There are enough reds, browns, metallics, jewel tones and soft neutrals to find a shade that suits your personal style, long after the Christmas decorations come down.

The Nail Lacquer and GelColor Collection
The main Sweeten Your Mani collection offers 12 limited-edition shades in Nail Lacquer and GelColor. Nail Lacquer lasts up to seven days, while GelColor lasts up to three weeks, giving you festive nails with minimal maintenance during holiday celebrations.

The Infinite Shine Collection
The collection also features 12 limited-edition Infinite Shine shades, ideal for those seeking a gel-like, high-shine finish at home. OPI states Infinite Shine lasts up to 11 days and can be applied and removed like regular polish. Caramel For You, a rich brown-shimmer chocolate shade, adds sophistication to the Infinite Shine range. For those who prefer understated tones over brighter M&M’S colours, this formula and shade are a good fit.

The 12-Piece Mini Advent Calendar
The 12-piece mini set is presented as an advent calendar, featuring numbered doors and all 12 limited-edition holiday Nail Lacquer shades. This format offers a genuine festive countdown experience, distinguishing it from standard mini sets.
The press release confirms that the 12-piece set includes the complete collection of limited-edition mini Nail Lacquer shades. This option is ideal for those who wish to experience the full range without purchasing 12 full-size bottles. And Durbin Rock offers a full spoiler breakdown if you like to know exactly what’s behind each door before you buy.
This set is part of the broader trend of beauty advent calendars for the year. For additional festive launches, refer to the 2026 Beauty Advent Calendars guide.

The Six-Piece Mini Set
The six-piece mini set offers a more concise selection from the Holiday 2026 palette, making it suitable for those who find the 12-piece advent calendar excessive. The packaging features M&M’S Christmas branding, and the shades include both vibrant and classic festive tones.

The Four-Piece Mini Set
The four-piece mini set is a reliable gift option, combining two collaboration shades with two classic OPI favourites. Bubble Bath and Big Apple Red are paired with two limited-edition holiday shades, offering a mix of familiar, wearable colours and new selections from OPI x M&M’S.
The packaging indicates the holiday shades are Deck the Shells and OPI Want Them All, offering a luminous silver and maroon shimmer, plus a soft neutral and classic red. This set is the most understated of the three mini options and is likely the easiest to gift when preferences are uncertain.
The collection launches on 1 October 2026. Nail Lacquer shades are £16.60 each, Infinite Shine is £19.10, and RapiDry is £9. Nail Lacquer mini packs range from £25 to £45. GelColor remains available exclusively as a professional salon service.
According to the press release, OPI, John Lewis, and selected retailers will offer Nail Lacquer and Infinite Shine, while Boots UK will carry RapiDry. For the most current UK availability, check the official OPI website, especially if you’re looking for specific shades or gift sets.
